BGS Day @ Broome Park:
Oh boy! Where do I start? It's taken me over a week to get over this Society game...
Following a late change to Broome Park, we were greeted by the beautiful autumn sun, bacon butties, a coffee & quite a bit of mud...
36pts won it for Carl Bolton, on countback ahead of Terry Porter. 32pts brought 3rd place for Jon Hunnisett, on countback from Rich Epps, who wasn't too disappointed as he won two 'nearest the pins'; Jon got the 3rd & Mark Hall won 'nearest the pin in two shots' with, apparently, the most exquisite of chips...
It was great to welcome Steve Evans back after 2 years, especially as he prevented the rest of us from winning the most golf played
The best news was that everyone who played gets a refund from their Westgate fees due to the muddy conditions...
