BGS Day at North Foreland:
Another late change due to Canterbury GC not having all 18 holes open (& Yes, big Stevie T has shared his wisdom with us about not booking certain courses in the winter time... - there's always something to learn - we're hoping we'll enjoy more of his wisdom now that he's officially retired... enjoy it Steve).
A big thank you to our local course for taking us in & our N.Foreland members for enabling us to get a decent price... - mates rates...
I'm chuffed to be able to let you all know that finally, after many brave 2nd places, Bob McDougall broke his duck & came in 1st place with a splendid 38pts. Lee & Arthur close behind on 37pts, with Lee winning 2nd on count-back...
Nearest the pins were won by myself - Rhod (5th), Arthur (11th) & Steve Evans (18th)... not one of the 12 of us got on the 7th 🤷♂️.
A good day & the weather was magnadoodle... apparently!!
